Senator Taylor requested that the reconsideration on CS FOR                    
SENATE BILL NO. 247(RLS) An Act restricting the use of certain                 
funds deposited in the fish and game fund; amending Rules 79(b)                
and 82(b)(2), Alaska Rules of Civil Procedure, and relating to the             
powers and duties of the commissioner of fish and game; and                    
providing for an effective date be taken up.                                   
                                                                               
CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 247(RLS) was before the Senate on                       
reconsideration.                                                               
                                                                               
Senator Sharp moved that the bill be returned to second reading for            
the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 1.               
Without objection, the bill was returned to second reading.                    
                                                                               
Senators Donley, Sharp offered Amendment No. 1 :                                
                                                                               
Page 2, after line 12:                                                         
	Insert a new subparagraph to read:                                            
		"(D)  conservative management of                                           
sport fish stocks for high quality recreational                                
fisheries, including catch and release fisheries and                           
trophy fisheries;"

	Insert a new subparagraph to read:

Reletter the following subparagraph accordingly.                               
                                                                               
Senator Sharp called the Senate.  The call was satisfied.                      
                                                                               
Senator Sharp moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1.                       
Without objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted.
